You are on to something here - why not use video to illustrate points? Earlier, I sometimes wrote a text to for instance give a review about a conference, and then I let certain words be links to .mov files that showed what I was talking about. That gives a very different experience, in my opinion, than if I had just made a video review of the whole conference, or if there was only the text side to it. 

Tagging specific video segments is what we need! This is very exciting stuff</description>
